Abstract
Replacing missing teeth distal to remaining natural teeth
with removable partial dentures (R.P.D) poses a significant challenge to
dentists. Patients with missing teeth often desire to use removable partial
dentures to improve
their dental aesthetics and restore their oral
function. The altered cast impression technique is a simple technique that
increases the support for the distal extension base. This case report aims to
describe a method of recording minimal tissue displacing altered cast
impression using condensation silicone material.
