In the name of Allah, the Most
Gracious, the Most Merciful, who has granted us His grace and strength, to
present the sixth issue of the Sudan Journal of Health Sciences (the
Journal), published by Alfajr College for Science and Technology (ACST)
every four months. The Journal incepted during extraordinary times,
amidst the challenging and exceptional circumstances of the unjust war imposed
on Sudan. It stands as a witness to this unprecedented conflict in Sudan’s
history. Despite the war, the Journal has continued to be published.
Standing at the threshold of victory, we remain hopeful for the end of this
difficult period in Sudan, Insha'Allah.
These scholars have worked
tirelessly, day and night, meticulously collecting, reviewing, correcting, and
revising articles, ensuring each stage of production is handled with the utmost
care, resulting in the Journal’s esteemed form.
The Editor-in-Chief of this Journal,
Professor Hasan Abuaisha, demonstrated remarkable perseverance and
commitment, overcoming personal and general challenges to meticulously oversee
the articles' progression. His renowned precision, extensive knowledge, and
patience—honed through experience and scholarly expertise—are unparalleled. We
pray for his health and well-being, acknowledging his invaluable contributions
to science and its students. Our deepest appreciation and respect go to
Professor Abuaisha, and we ask Allah to grant him the strength to guide
this newborn Journal to compete with leading Journals inside and
outside Sudan.
Supporting
the Professor is a team of ambitious, enthusiastic, and dedicated young
professionals, led by Dr. Egbal Ahmed Bashir, the Journal’s esteemed
executive editor, and the Professor's invaluable right hand. Dr. Egbal has
worked tirelessly and diligently to ensure the Journal’s continuity and
visibility across various scientific platforms, attracting young, promising
individuals equipped with the necessary expertise and skills, just to mention Dr. Sahar Elderdiri, and the young
doctors: Rahaf Ibrahim, Hisham Zain, Rahma Ibrahim, Abdullah Nadir, Youmna
Alhassan, and Omer Fadl. Leading these outstanding young professionals, Dr.
Ali Adam Ali Hamad stands out for his efforts in spreading, preserving, and
archiving the Journal, establishing an independent website, obtaining a
DOI, and enhancing its presence on social media. This has significantly
increased the Journal’s readership and contributor base.
Despite the challenging
circumstances in Sudan, this newborn Journal has managed to publish six
consecutive issues punctually, an accomplishment made possible by Allah’s grace
and the collaborative efforts of distinguished scholars across various fields.
These scholars served as scientific reviewers for the articles published over
the past two years, rigorously evaluating submissions to uphold the Journal’s
standards.
We ask Allah to grant success to all
those involved with this Journal, guiding them and crowning their
efforts with success. All praise and thanks are due to Allah, the Grantor of
success for this distinguished work.
Below is a list of the names and fields of
specialization of the expert reviewers from outside the editorial board who
